The updated Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been launched with new features and fresh color options. The news of this update came out on September 14, 2025, and the bike will be available for sale from September 22, 2025. This update brings several important changes to one of Royal Enfield’s most popular mid-size cruisers since its original launch in 2020.

Updated Design and New Colors

The 2025 Meteor 350 keeps its classic cruiser design and comfortable riding style but introduces seven new colorways. These include Fireball Orange, Fireball Grey, Stellar Matt Grey, Stellar Marine Blue, Aurora Retro Green, Aurora Red, and Supernova Black. Each variant now has unique color options to appeal to different riders.

For example, the Fireball variants have bright and vibrant colors suited for young riders. Aurora carries heritage-inspired retro colors, while the Supernova has a modern black with chrome finish that adds premium appeal.

Feature Upgrades Across Variants

One of the biggest improvements is the introduction of LED headlights and LED turn indicators on all variants. Previously, only the higher-spec models had LED lighting. The LED lights are more efficient and improve visibility. The Fireball and Stellar variants now come standard with an LED headlamp and the Tripper navigation pod, which offers turn-by-turn navigation—an advanced feature that helps riders with directions on the road.

Another important change is the addition of a USB Type-C charging port across all models. This provides faster charging compared to older USB ports and is more convenient for riders who use smartphones or other devices while riding.

The clutch system of the Meteor 350 has been improved with an assist-and-slip clutch on all variants. The assist feature eases the clutch lever action, making it smoother and lighter to operate, helping especially in city traffic with stop-and-go conditions. The slipper clutch helps prevent rear-wheel lockup during aggressive downshifting and offers better control and safety on slopes or twists.

Adjustable brake and clutch levers now come standard on the higher-end Aurora and Supernova versions, offering customized comfort to riders based on their hand size and riding style.

Unchanged Engine and Performance

The mechanical specs remain the same as the previous model. The Meteor 350 is powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled J-series engine. It delivers a maximum power of 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and peak torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This engine offers predictable and reliable power suited for comfortable cruising and city riding. It is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

The bike’s suspension and braking system also continue unchanged, with telescopic forks in the front, twin-shock absorbers at the rear, and disc brakes on both wheels supported by dual-channel ABS.

Pricing and Variants

The 2025 Meteor 350 is offered in four main variants: Fireball, Stellar, Aurora, and Supernova. The price starts at Rs 1,95,762 for the Fireball variant and goes up to Rs 2,15,883 for the top-end Supernova model (ex-showroom Chennai).

The price drop compared to the older model is partly due to the new GST 2.0 tax regime in India, which reduces the GST on motorcycles up to 350cc from 28% to 18% starting September 22, 2025. This makes the Meteor 350 more affordable while offering more features.

Warranty and Accessories

Royal Enfield has also extended the warranty and roadside assistance program for the Meteor 350 up to seven years or 40,000 km, which is an improvement over the standard three-year or 30,000 km coverage. This offers buyers added peace of mind regarding long-term ownership.

Additionally, buyers can choose from a wide range of genuine Royal Enfield accessories to customize their Meteor 350. These include touring seats, engine guards, sump guards, touring mirrors, and performance upgrades, catering to riders who want to enhance comfort, utility, and style.

Summary

The 2025 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 update brings a strong package of visual, comfort, and functional upgrades. With new colors, modern LED lighting, assist-and-slip clutch, Tripper navigation pod, and faster USB Type-C charging, this cruiser becomes more appealing for everyday riders and long-distance touring enthusiasts.

The price reduction due to GST 2.0, combined with extended warranty and a variety of accessories, makes it a great value proposition in the 350cc cruiser segment as of September 2025.

This update ensures the Meteor 350 remains a top choice for those looking for classic cruiser style combined with modern features and reliable performance for city and highway riding alike. The new features improve safety, convenience, and riding comfort while retaining the relaxed and iconic Royal Enfield cruising experience.
